Seltzer/Cider
Outside of beer, Hops are an unknown flavor, yet have complex characteristics depending on the variety. Achievable flavor profiles can range from tropical and fruity, to herbal, piney, dank, and so many more.
Hard seltzer as a category, represents more than 10% of the U.S. “beer” market today, yet flavors are mostly fruity. Refreshing hopped beverages can appeal to a broader demographic, appealing to both females AND males. Hopzoil also opens up new flavor options for Hopped Non-Alcoholic or Functional beverages.
Hard ciders are growing in popularity because they appeal to both beer and wine drinkers as well as those who aren’t because there are so many different styles and flavors of cider.
Hard ciders are as diverse as their makers who develop recipes with different varieties of apples as a base, numerous types of yeasts, flavor additives (like Hopzoil!), and diverse aging times in wooden, glass, or stainless steel containers.
Each Hopzoil variety has its own unique flavor profile and can be used individually or in combination with other varieties to create flavorful hoppy beverages.
